The original killer bunny movie. An all star cast presumably paid a truck load of money or at the mercy of some MGM contract they couldn’t get out of. Either way they’re stuck in this movie for all eternity.
I have read on various boards that the studio had high hopes for this movie but was let down by the special effects. In their defence this was pre Food of The Gods , but at least that was American International where such movies are welcome and in fact enjoyable, but there’s something disturbing about a studio with the reputation of MGM making a movie like this. Warner Brothers fired back with Trog , but even that is a Masterpiece compared to this gem.
