I love made for TV movies, and especially made for TV horror. Often the writers are much better than many of the main stream writers either – in this case Jimmy Sangster wrote the teleplay. Once we get into the mid 80’s the standard seems to decline a little, but Movie of The Week and Made for TV movies from the 70’s are still awesome. A Taste of Evil is a good example with an amazing cast, well acted and creating a great atmosphere with presumably a low budget. Particular mention should be made of the theme music which is haunting and beautiful. Little wonder there is a connection to the great Jerry Goldsmith
